Our story
Cedar & Zen began in 2014, with one handmade warmer and a season of sleepless nights. Today we make stoneware rituals and whole-botanical blends for homes that want to slow down.
Why we exist
How it began

Our founder made her first herbal warmer during a stretch of stress and sleepless nights. A spoonful of dried herbs, a tea light, and twenty quiet minutes became the one part of the day that was entirely hers.

The warmer became an evening ritual, then something she made for the people she loved. Friends asked for more blends, and then for warmers of their own.

Cedar & Zen is now a small company helping thousands of people slow down at home. The idea hasn’t changed: real plants, gentle warmth, and a few minutes that belong to you.
What we believe
Everything we make follows a few simple rules. They keep our blends honest and our warmers worth keeping.

Real dried flowers, leaves, peel and wood. No synthetic fragrance, no dyes, nothing added to make a scent louder than the plant made it.
Our warmers gently warm herbs over a tea light. Nothing burns, so there’s no smoke or soot, just a slow release of scent for 30 to 40 minutes.
Heavy, hand-finished stoneware, made to live on a table for years rather than be replaced next season.
A few quiet minutes, chosen on purpose. We design for the pause at the end of the day, not for another thing to get through.
We share what research has explored and say plainly what it hasn’t. A ritual is a way to slow down, not a cure.

The warmer
Each warmer is heavy, glazed stoneware with a shallow dish above a tea light. Add a spoonful of herbs, light it, and let the warmth do the rest. It works with our blends, or with dried herbs, citrus peel and loose tea from your own kitchen.
